Let your fingers do the talking, and type up a Letter to the Editor of your local paper. Your letter is a powerful way to get your message in front of thousands of people.
Here's some tips on how to write a great one:
- Keep it short -- 150 words or less is usually good.
- Stick to one subject -- what's the one most compelling reason why you support Steve? That's probably what you should write about.
- Try to reference an article that the paper has already published, so that the letter fits naturally into the "conversation" of the paper's reporters, columnists, and readers.
- And make sure to include your address and phone number, so that the paper can verify your identity.
