Oregonians are looking for a Senator who will be an outspoken advocate for their values and a tireless fighter for their priorities. Oregon needs a Senator who will bring the troops home from Iraq now, finally achieve affordable health care for all, protect our natural environment and address the rising wave of economic inequality and national debt that threatens our nation's future.

Time and again on the campaign trail, Steve Novick is hearing from voters looking for someone different. Not a typical politician, but someone who will give you a straight answer and demand real results in Washington. Already, hundreds of Oregonians have joined Steve's call for change, publicly declaring their support for his campaign. Please join these brave and bold supporters by signing the Standing Strong for Steve pledge and taking the following actions:

Standing Strong For Steve

I moved to Oregon in 2001 after working in Washington, DC (the other Washington) for 15 years. As a Communications Consultant and spare time activist, I worked with a plethora of politicians. Steve is the first one I've found with integrity that matches his savvy intelligence. The positions he takes would bring new health and energy to Oregonians and our land. I'm about to send a financial contribution now and I urge everyone to to do the same--even if you can afford a small amount, send it Steve's way. He needs those donations. He needs all the support we can offer to compete against the traditional and hackneyed political machines of his opponents.

I've known Steve for 24

I've known Steve for 24 years. Intensely brilliant, fiercely compassionate, an excellent strategist, and a powerful collaborator, Steve has what it takes to be a 21st Century politician. He has the ability to both stand strong in his personal values, yet holds the realistic perspective of the need to reach across the aisle to find common ground for the good of all, and build from there. Oregon could not do any better than electing a morally strong man like Steve Novick. Sam House

Good for Oregon, good for the nation...

There are very few politicians with disabilities, which leaves the disability community perpetually under represented. Oregon has traditionally been a progressive state regarding disability issues. Having Steve as part of our state's congressional delegation would be an asset to the disability community nationwide.

go for it steve

go for it steve we are with you

why i stand for steve

six months ago, i wasn't paying much attention to the primary race. then i had a casual encounter with mr. merkley and a few of his high level staffers. perhaps it was the way i was dressed or the work i was doing at the time, but they were unfriendly, rude, and downright dismissive of me both as a person and potential voter. i was totally dismayed, thinking "is this the best the dems can do"? i then started to do some research on the race and was delighted to run accross steve's campaign. everyone i have spoken to or come in contact with has been so enthusiastic and respectful, which was nice, but it was steve's positions on the issues that really blew me away. those basic differences in staff behavior comes from the leadership at the top, and for my money (which has gone to steve), this is the kind of representation i want. i am speaking to everyone that i know about this race and have gotten several folks to join me in contributing to steve's campaing and more than several to change their vote. i'm hooked!

Steve and Mike Malloy

What an unexpected treat to hear Steve on Mike Malloy's radio show -- Steve, you were awesome! And I will put some green behind that statement! It is amazing to watch and hear your support growing -- there is truly no contest between your intellect, heart, and passion to move this country off its increasingly thin dime. Go Steve!
